Dear Sir or Madam
I am considering relocating to the Dream area during the last week of May and am currently exploring job opportunities. As my résumé reveals, I have both a Bachelors and Master's degree in Computer Science (M.C.A). I have Four years of experience System–Level Programming C, C++, UNIX, LINUX, SunSolaris and PC based as well as Real-Time Systems. I enjoy working in a high energy and high performance work environment. I have worked on and learned a great deal from several very interesting and complex commercial projects. Previously I work for extremely talented software team in “Motorola, Malaysia” to build a dual-mode wireless communication device with a display interface. At the completion of this project in Motorola in April I am anxious to take on new challenges and build upon my knowledge base. I am excited by the prospect of working with an organization that is both an unquestioned leader in its programming niche and an enthusiastic risk taker in an entirely new frontier.
I have enclosed my résumé for your review. I would like the opportunity to meet and share more about my qualifications and the ways in which I can contribute to the team. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Vasu

PROJECTS SUMMARY
ACCESS CONTROL AND TRACKING SYSTEM
Nestac Systems, Malaysia
Environment : C, Linux, My-SQL Max 3.0
Duration : 12/12/2002-06/04/2003
Access Control and Tracking System (ACTS) helps to minimize some of those security risks and protect the system integrity by
· Providing a user access control mechanism through the use of customized user menu environment.
· Limiting the authority of super user to a set of pre-defined tasks and allowing the separation of roles between super users, security officers and other normal users.
· Increasing the audibility of the system through various audit reporting.
Essentially the ACTS restricts all users completely from gaining access to the shell prompts through both TELNET and FTP sessions. Each user will be authenticated through a user name and password pair prior to login on to the system. Navigating through the main and sub menus, the user should able to perform their tasks by selecting the appropriate functional options from each menu. All user interactions should be logged for auditing and reporting purposes; report should be generated on a scheduled or ad hoc basis. The system should allow the administrator to define the setup different categories
and options. The administrator should be able to tag a specific menu option as “Sensitive”, which would require a password re-verification upon selection. Should a session be idle for a certain period of time, the system should automatically log the user out and the user would be required to be re-authenticated in order to reenter the system. The system should also allow certain function keys to be used as shortcut keys, as well as provide online help to user who are not familiar with some of features.
Responsibilities: I involved in analyzing and coding and Data Base designing.
SUPER CELL ARCHITECTURE (OMCR - Sub System Testing)
Motorola, Malaysia
Environment : C++, SNMP, ClearCase, SabLime, Sun Solaris 8.0
Duration : 16/10/2001-10/12/2002
The Sub System Testing (SST) is part of MOTOROLA OSSD (Operational Systems Support Division) Operation Maintenance Centre for Radio project for developing device classes for their CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), OMCR (Operation Maintenance Center-Radio). For their Cellular communication devices. The OMCR is the software that does the Configuration Management (CM), Fault Management, Software Load Management (SLM) of the whole CDMA System. The classes carries the methods that participate in data and voice translation from the BTS to XC of the CDMA and Data maintenance can be done at OMCR which is having CLI between SM (Switch Mate) and CBSC (Centralized Base Service Control) of the system.
The total Module deals with device data maintenance as well the customer data maintenance in terms of data and voice transfer, in CDMA frame.
OMCR is the concern module at CDMA for the total monitoring and maintenance of the CDMA architecture, where CLI allows the c++ developer to interpret with the system. The module earlier Ver 16.1 is enhanced by us to get it-updated ver 16.3, where totally involved in 1000 device classes addition. The classes inherit the old properties add adds the new functionality to the module, which will be the next targeted release for cellular models.
Responsibilities:
· Writing PERL Script Programming.
· Writing Test Plans according to the DBCM (Database Configuration Management).
· Executing the Test Cases in the Test Plan.
· Executing the DBSchema for MIB Testing.
· Executing Cutover, XLBU (Extended LBU) and Regression for devices

Interactive Voice Response System for the bank to know the account balance, general
Information, transaction details checkbook request over the telephone. In the backend UNIX machine acts as a server in C, C++, TCP/IP environment. Server can handle the multiple requests at a time by maintaining a queue. Multi threading concepts have been extensively used in Client programs and user Interface has been written in C++ on Unix. Multithreading allows multiple requests from different phone lines at a time. UNIX API for socket programming has been used for communicating with the server over TCP/IP connection.
Responsibilities:
· Involved in the design and development of the Interactive Voice Response System
using C++ and Socket Programming.
· Involved in attending to Users problems.
· Written several shell scripts to automate system related processes
· Written several report programs for statistical analysis
· Implemented the Inheritance & Polymorphism features of OOP in the package
· Involved in coding, testing and implementation of the system
· Involved in updating the database and generation of reports
AUTOMATION Of SOFTWARE TESTING
Citation Softech LTD, INDIA
Environment : C++, Unix
Duration : 16/12/1999 – 04/06/2000
The developed project deals with Automation of test case generation for software testing. The project uses path-oriented approach for automated software test data generation on current theory of execution - based test data generation. The approach uses data dependence analysis to guide the path generation process, which reduces the test path and avoids exhaustive testing. The project was successfully implemented using C language. Designed Algorithms, Structured Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD). I involved in implementation of Lexical Analyzer, path generator and test suite generator Algorithm.
Responsibilities:
· Writing C++ classes for test cases.
· Generating Lexical analyzer Algorithm.
· Writing DFD (Data Flow Diagrams)
REGRESSION TEST SELECTION TECHNIQUE
Citation Softech LTD, INDIA
Environment : C++, Unix
Duration : 06/06/1999-09/12/1999
Regression testing is an expensive, but necessary maintenance activity performed on modified software to provide confidence that changes are correct and do not adversely effect other portions of the software. This project deals with Regression Testing Modified Software and selects a subset of tests from the original test suite that expose faults in modified software. This is a selective Re-test technique, which attempts to reduce the time required to Re-test a modified program by selectively Re-using the tests and selectively Re-testing the modified program. Our Algorithms construct control flow graphs for procedure or program and its modified version.
Responsibilities:
· Writing File Handling Programming to store all Test Cases.
· Using Algorithm to reduce the Re-Test Timing.
