Xiino Cruiser is Windows based software used for creating “Cruiser” files. Web pages
built and stored on a PC are converted to “Cruiser” files and can be browsed by Xiino, the browser for hand held. A “Cruiser” file is downloaded to a Palm device by HotSync and can be browsed by Xiino.

Role

Developing the graphical user interface for XiinoCruiser and downloading of web pages from the net by XiinoCruiser.

Studying and analyzing the techniques used to convert the downloaded web pages into Palm Query Application (.pqa) files, which can be understood by the hand, held devices.

Business Processing System

Description

The System provides an environment where computers and humans will work together to do business processes. A Business Process describes in detail how Trading Partners take on roles, relationships and responsibilities to facilitate interaction with other Trading Partners in shared collaborations. The interaction between roles takes place as a choreographed set of business transactions. Each business transaction is expressed as an exchange of electronic Business Documents. At present this system focuses on purchase order business processing.

Role

Working as the developer for integrating various business units of an enterprise and establishing communication between enterprises by exchanging the business documents (ebXML) using Java Message Service (JMS). In this messaging part, the communication issues such as initializing the message queues, Setting up of different queues for various departments, Routing of messages to appropriate departments by checking their roles and permissions were handled.

Servlet routine which stores the external client’s business transactions persistently and provides support for handling internal user’s requests to list out the transaction details was developed.

To display the ebXML documents to the end users, style sheets were developed using XSL.
