Project Details:

 All the Analysis features like Net List Extraction, Measuring Ball, and Acid trap in PCB-Board, Slivers (Copper & solder), like this so many analysis features.
 This software was developed as an interface between designing of Printed circuit boards and the manufacturing of the same. The software takes as input the files generated by various PCB design tools (Visula, Cadstar, AutoCAD, etc), allows for manufacturing level modifications in the data and finally generates output in formats, which could be fed into CNC machines (Gerber, HPGL, HPGL/2, IPC-D-350, etc).
 The basic interface of the software is to display multiple layers of PCB design drawings over one another. The software facilitates for various manufacturing level QC checks (hairline cracks, impedance indicator, minimum gap analysis, etc) as well.
 The software displays many graphical files by superimposing them over each other. I had to ensure the print & preview of the entire database in order of imposition. The user can select colors for each layer, which does not affect the database.
 Components like Transistors, IC etc. are built in Objects and stored in system-Register. In EDA-industry ‘Part’ plays a major role. It contains components with electrical-information.
 It includes some macros; in technically it is nothing but OLE- components.
This helps CAM-interface users can switch to CAD-star interface.
 I also developed various dialog boxes including the usage of common dialog boxes (CFontDialog, CPrintDialog, etc). Our customized print dialog box provides several options to user like Rotation of design, multiple pages printing, Best fit to save paper, Comments On/Off, Print at zoomed level. I used all functions provided in MFC to do this all. The header & Footer are also incorporated in the printing.

2. Excel-VHDL : ON LINE V.H.D.L TRAINING

The On Line VHDL Training application is an innovative idea of VHDL training through Web Services to sort out various problems of the users in terms of
 The students who are curious to learn about VHDL.
 The companies who want to go for providing training to their employee’s at large scale. But they are unable to adopt this technique due to its heavy cost license and limited number of VHDL training centers in India.

Solution Strategy & Methodology Used:

This Project consists of three parts Viewer, Editor and VHDL simulator at server end. Viewer and editor is provided to client and VHDL simulator will be at server side.
 The registered user can be help out by sending only two files for simulations i.e. (VHDL source file and CMD file to input to simulator), through a Telecom package.
 This Telecom package is made through WINSOCK programming to transfer files from Remote machines to the server or in other Words it’s a framework of client-server technique. Viewer to display the output waveforms and an Editor to edit the files.
 The heart of this project is server side programming. The methodology used to process the files at server end is Multithreading to achieve various goals. The user would be intimated about their status through automatic mail services.
 Technique used for these automated mail services is MAPI (Messaging APIs). And behind this entire automated server side programming there is a maintained database through serialization.

Most of the users wants high end & high cost software’s to do a piece of work, so how they get the licenses for those software so they have to buy that high cost software, so to get rid of this problem we made a technique by providing a license to the user at his machine through web for how much time he/she wants to use.
