· Creating the BTS site at BSC as per the planning information
· Connecting the BTS to BSC after proper testing and then unlocking the site
· Performing test calls after site creation at MSC
· BTS alarm integration
· Q1 interfacing of radios to BTS for alarms
· Documentation and labeling
Dn2 Integration :
Integration of BTS into Dynamic Node 2Mbps (DN2) for loop protection include
· Connecting the ET of the BSC to Tx port and the remaining two Rx ports of DN2 to two different radios which are connected to BTS in separate paths.
· Editing Branching tables with DN2 tables and then activating the tables
· Testing the DN2 protection by removing one direction at a time.
2. Ultra & Metro BTS:
Commissioning:
· This activity include feeders return loss measurements
· Preparation of Hardware file and loading it into the BTS.
· TRX loop tests
· TRX power measurement
· 13Mhz clock DAC word setting
· LIF setting, synchronization setting
· Traffic manager editing
· Cross connections
· BTS software loading
Integration :
· Getting the PCM stream to the site either through microwave radios, optical fiber or copper media from the BSC .
· If FXC RRI is used the radio hop has to be commissioned and aligned until the planned Rx value is achieved.
· Creating the BTS site at BSC as per the planning information
· Connecting the BTS to BSC after proper testing and then unlocking the site
· Performing test calls after site creation at MSC
· BTS alarm integration
· Documentation and labeling
Dn2 Integration:
Integration of BTS into Dynamic Node 2Mbps (DN2) for loop protection include
· Connecting the ET of the BSC to Tx port and the remaining two Rx ports of DN2 to two different radios which are connected to BTS in separate paths.
· Creating the cross connections as per the requirement in the BTS and activating the bank.
· Testing the DN2 protection by removing one direction at a time.
If the BTS is connected in spur the DN2 activity does not come into picture.
Can share the same ET for more then one sites and can also perform cross connection for 3 interfaces in FXC E1/T1 card.
3. Can perform the following activities in Base Station Controller:
· Creation of Talk family, Ultra and Metro BTS sites as per the planning details by using commands like ZDSE,ZEFC,ZEQC,ZERC etc
· Can support at BSC end in case of TRX additions which include creation of D-channel and TRX and then unlocking the TRX.
· Exchange Terminal (ET) enabling from SE-NH to WO-EX with ZUSC.
· Taking alarm logs for BSC and BTS by using commands like ZAHO,ZAHP,ZEOL,ZEOH,ZDTI etc.
· Also have knowledge on TCSM physical connectivity, card functionality but didn’t had an opportunity to commission.
4. Microwave Radios:
· Can handle radios like DMR& DR15 setting parameters like Tx power, Tx frequency, Scrambling polynomial, number of E1s etc.
· Flexi Hopper commissioning which include Tx power setting , Tx frequency, Interleaving status and cross-connections.
· Commissioning of Flexi Hopper (1+1) configuration and with FXC RRI.
· Software up-gradations of IDU and ODU with latest software like E0 and F0.
5. Dynamic Node 2Mbps :
· Trained on DN2 at Nokia Delhi.
· Having about 11 DN2 in the present working network.
· Can solve problems related to DN2 loops.
6. Fibcom Optical Mux :
· Installed and Commissioned 4no.s STM-1 and 3 STM-4 Fibcom ( Tell Labs unit) Optical Mux equipment
· Maintaining all the above equipment.
