§ Prepare appropriate proposals, presentations, correspondence and documentation as required in the project marketing process.
§ Generate beneficial relationships that can be marketed as partners.

From January 2001 - March 2002: Product Manager - Telecom
Business Unit

Responsibilities:

§ Was in charge of revenue generation through product distribution and solution selling for the Telecom Business Unit. The products included products from Vertel Corp., US, AdventNet Inc., US and RadioScape Ltd. UK.
§ In Charge of a team of 5 Engineers comprising of two sales Engineers and three technical Members.
§ Responsible for revenue generation of US$ 1 Million.
§ Supporting the sales team with subject matter expertise and sales tools to communicate the benefits of the products, which included Vertel's TMN toolkits, AdventNet's end-to-end Network Management tools and RadioScape's RadioLab3G.
§ Creating the marketing collateral for the sales personnel that will be used to directly explain the product values to the customers.
§ Calling on potential customers to explain the company and the new product offer.
§ Working with customers to create a win-win proposals for the customers to adopt the product.
§ Bring customer product requirements back to Product Management.

§ To provide training to customers on Vertel's., range of Software for Telecommunication Management Networks (TMN) and e*ORB.
§ Provided leadership to 4 Members of the Technical Group.
§ Prepare customized solutions for Vertel's range of Software.
§ Participate in Seminars and workshops all over India to promote Vertel's Software.
§ Product demonstrations at potential customer sites
§ Installations and familiarizations at customer sites for Vertel's Software
§ Trouble shooting and technical Support to existing customers with interaction from Vertel's technical support team in the US.
§ Played an important role in testing beta releases from Vertel Corp.
§ Prior to joining the Telecom Business Unit my responsibilities also included providing customers with training on EDA (Electronic Design and Automation) packages like OrCAD, which is a Cadence family product.

Title : Design of a VHF Transmitter circuit in the low band at Karnataka Electronics (KEONICS).

Synopsis : The project dealt with the designing, testing and implementation of the circuit on a PC Board. The specifications were to design a VHF transmitter circuit to operate at spot frequency of 77.1 Mhz by using a piezo electric crystal in the circuit. The maximum permissible deviation was + 5Khz. This transmitter was successfully designed, tested and implemented and was mass-produced for use by the Hyderabad Water Supply Board.
