PROJECTS
WORKED ON: * Spread Spectrum Wireless Transceiver

The transceiver is based on Frequency Hopped Spread Spectrum Technique. BFSK is used as the modulation technique. Gold Codes as PN Sequence for spreading the signal at the transmitter. Convolution Coding & Viterbi Decoding is being used for the error control coding. The project is being implemented in the ISM frequency band and according to 3G standards.


* Third Generation Mobile Communication
(cdma-one, cdma-2000, w-cdma)

The project contains a detailed description of 3G communication platforms such as cdma-one, cdma-2000, and w-cdma. It also incorporates various features, advantages and implementation of the 3G communication
Techniques in the present scenario.

* Image Compression.

The project incorporated a pixel matrix, which is converted from R, B, and G to Y, Cr, Cb matrix. The matrix is then reduced by performing DCT, Thresholding, Quantization, Zig Zag Scanning and finally RLC Coding is done.VHDL has been used as the coding language and the whole code is simulated on ModelSim.

* Implemented Systolic Array Architecture for one dimensional DCT, Convolutional Coding, Viterbi Decoding using VHDL as the coding language, ModelSim as the simulation Tool and Leonardo Spectrum as synthesis tool.

entitled Phase Locked Loop Basics,
at the Technical Symposium at
M.S.Ramaiah School of Advanced
Studies, Bangalore.
