Requirements
1) Diploma or Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with at least 3 to 5 years working experience on HP-UX and Sun Solaris. Telco industry experience will be beneficial.
2) Experience in NT, Win2K, networking and security.
3) Experience in Unix Shell and Perl scripting
4) Proficient in Web Servers (eg. Iplanet, WebLogic or Websphere).
5) Proficient in RDBMS (Oracle or MS SQL Server).
6) Possess good project management and problem solving skills.
7) Resourceful team player with good communication skills.
8) Able to pick up new technologies within a short period and adopt to rapid change of environment.
9) Strong tasks and time management skills.
10) Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Job Duties
1) To support new systems implementations.
2) To administer and maintain existing Unix and Network Systems.
3) To provide technical support to Application Developers and end-users.
4) To perform systems and database performance tuning, capacity planning and maintenance.
5) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems/network/database related problems.
6) To evaluate and recommend new releases and fix requirements
7) To carry out documentation for changes or new implementations
