Description:
As a Quality Engineer, I involved in the Testing and developing of eVMS, a B2B product connecting Buyers and vendors for EASTWEST Consultants, SA. This system mainly aims at automating the business transactions between the Vendors and Buyers of Supply chain Stores. The salient features of the system include automatic generation of purchase orders by the vendors and automatic mailing to buyers/ approval hierarchies, cost updating Process, Inventory valuation. The whole system is implemented in 3-tier architecture. The database repository is Oracle 8.0 and the business logic using EJB 2.0 as component model for database retrieval is stored in Web logic application server (middle tier) and the user interface, access to the business activities were done through Cold Fusion 4.5. Client validations are done using JavaScript.
