Job Function:
To provide systems support and ensure high availability of mission critical IT systems in accordance to the agreed SLA with users.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Provide System Engineering support to Unix (Sun Solaris & IBM AIX) systems.
2) Provide database administration support on Sybase.
3) Develop shell scripts to automate system management tasks.
4) Monitor the performance of systems and carry out proactive system performance tuning.
5) Troubleshoot and resolve complex system performance problem.
6) Capacity planning, system expansion and enhancement support.
7) System project implementation.

Technical Skills Required:
1) More than 7 years' hands on experience in Solaris, AIX, Sybase database administration.
2) Expert in performance tuning for large enterprise systems running Solaris, AIX and Sybase.
3) Solid skill in writing unix shell scripts.
4) Knowledge in Oracle database administration & Kondor+ application is advantageous.

Qualification:
1) Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:
1) At least 5 years IT Systems Infrastructure experience, like Unix System, Storage, Network Administration.
2) Experience in banking IT Operations environment is essential.

Other Skills:
1) Team Worker with good interpersonal and communication skills.
2) Possess initiative and able to work independently.
3) Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
