We are a Singapore-based executive search firm. One of our clients, a medical system / equipment MNC is currently hiring a Applications Specialist (Cardiac / Vascular / OG Ultrasound / Adult / Paediatrics echo ).

JOB SCOPE

Actively participates in the sales demonstration, training and after-sale support of multiple ultrasound platforms. Along with the Account Manager, determines appropriate demo strategy for individual sales situations. Perfects the demonstrations protocol for the products.
Demonstrates products to customers and potential customers and clearly differentiates the company and technology from the competition. Promotes products at tradeshows and seminars. Routinely participates in key situations such as multi-system demonstrations, closing situations, and top clinical accounts.
Provides support for customer product installations and follow-ups.
Provides supplemental field training support to new employees. Assists in the image acquisition program. Responsible for teaching system optimisation and operations to customers for multiple system platforms.
Responsible for learning new applications and providing training to peers and customers.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

A tertiary education in Radiography, Applied Sc. In Medical Radiation Technology, Medical Ultrasonography or equivalent, plus minimum two years experience clinical experience in the following: OB/GYN, and Vascular or Adult Echo, Paediatric Echo and Vascular.
Good product knowledge and excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation and computer skills.
Demonstrated ability to conduct customer sales demos and provide applications training
Excellent teaching skills on complex system functions.
Knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation, clinical applications, pathology on the company’s and competitive ultrasound products.
Proficiency in the clinical applications, systems operation and demonstration of multiple system platforms.
Ability to work independently and as a partner with the Sales Team.
Ability to effectively manage travel time, budget and expenses, and to work as a team player.
Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly changing environment.
High level proficiency in scanning.
Performance of many sales functions, including technology presentations, obtaining options leads, and influencing the sale of ultrasound imaging equipment.
Prepared to travel extensively within the region
