Responsibilities:

1) Execution of daily operations of computer systems.
2) Maintenance of user data procedures.
3) Ensure all operating systems are running at optimum levels.
4) System related functions of tape media and stock management; dispatch and receive computer services tape media.

Requirements:

1) Diploma in Computing or other IT certifications.
2) Minimum 2 years experience in a VMS and UNIX environment, supporting networked systems as a Systems Operator (or equivalent) level. Those with Mainframe or OS/400 experience are welcome to apply.
3) Working knowledge of handling line printers and high-end laser printers.
4) You will be required to work in 2 rotating shifts

You will also be required to work on Saturday and/or Sunday on an ad hoc basis to support the operations.
