Tester Required with strong Unix background with following requirement for a Bangalore Based client. Lots of Openings experience 3-7 years. Please read the requirements carefully and mention the same project wise in your resume.

1. Hands on experience with Manual / Functional Testing ( Product Testing Knowledge)
2. Unix experience - Advanced (HP-UX, AIX), OS (Unix administrator skills)
3. Experience with one of the test tools like Silk test, Rational Robot, Winrunner.
4. Database knowledge - Oracle, SQL, DB2, Sybase(installation, configuration, tracing).
5. Webserver / J2EE knowledge - (Any one Web server) - web servers configurations, + communication between Application server and Web server

6. Clear understanding of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, peer, user acceptance and regression testing
7 . Development experience in C++, Java, SQL Skills is a PLUS
8. SSL aspects (compilation)
9. network architecture, proxies, firewalls skills (not especially configuration but know the methods and fonctionnement
10. Mail servers testing or implementation experience
11. Good analytical and problem solving skills
12. Very experienced in Root Cause Analysis methods
