This position is responsible for risk assessment on individual life with involvement in related daily operation activities and functions. The job includes determining equitable premium rates on the risk assessed for the Company and the Customer without comprising quality and standards.
The successful candidate should have the following:
·Knowledge of medical, financial and legal aspect of Life Insurance to enable equitable and sound selection of risk.
·Have experience in medical underwriting/risk assessment for at least 1-2 years in the life insurance industry
·Provide ease to agents and customers in dealing with the company.
·Able to provide consultation services and good customer service to agency members and clients independently.
·Ability to work effectively as an individual or in a team with minimum supervision meeting the objectives/goals of the Department and Company.
·Result-orientated, systematic in assignment approach & resourceful in problem solving.
·Proven analytical and decision-making skills, strong prioritization skills and organizational abilities
·Ability to effectively manage time to accomplish several tasks concurrently
·Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
·Computer literate (preferably Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Biology, Science or related field, or two years of working experience in Nurses/Paramedical and equivalent related work experience in Life Insurance industry or ACII/AMII/AAII/LOMA preferred.
·Fresh graduate from any discipline may also apply.
