A multinational Oil & Gas Company is looking for a SAFETY OFFICER. The job responsibilities are as below :-

Ensure that all the construction activities on site and vessels, platform, barges and suppoting vessels are carried out in a safe manner and in adherence to the comapny safety policy, statutory regulations and guidelines as minimum required.

Promote in cooperation with the project manager periodical safety meetings with the supervisoors and the foremen and attend the Client's safety meetings.
Take part in all accident/incident/near miss investigations realting to any construction related incident.
Complete all relevant sections of accident report form.
Ensure that any learning points are communicated to line management and work force.
Cascade any safety related information down to the workforce and assist with thorough safety instructions for new personnel arriving on vessel.
Implementation of any safety related procedures or safety awareness campaign.
Ensure permits to work have been carried out properly.
ensure that the project manager is informed as soon as possible after an accident is occured.
Developed Risk Assessments of the projects.
Promote HSE plan by personal example.
Develop emergency procedures for projects in conjuction with the client.
Participate in the incident/accident investigations with the constructions manager.
conduct shcdule meetings and sites periodically.
Etc.

Salary is negotiable depends on the experiences.
