Requirements:
A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 3 - 5 years experience in AS/400 administration and technical support.
Hands-on experience on Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning and Systems Security Administration.
Proficient in TCP/IP and SNA.
Novell Netware, NT Servers and/or Unix experience will be beneficial.
Good communication and inter-personal skills

Job Duties:
To administer and maintain existing AS/400 Systems.
To provide technical support to Application Developers and end-users
To perform systems performance tuning and capacity planning.
To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify OS/400 related problems.
To carry out PTF upgrades (scheduled basis)
To assist in new project implementations
