Job Title : Instrument Technician

Location : UAE (Middle East)

Salary Range : Salary Negotiable.

Minimum Requirements:

· Maximum age 40 years.

· Completion of Secondary Technical Education (12 year.) plus direct Vocational training (6-12 months).

· 3-4 years experience in instrumentation maintenance, repair and calibration of modern instrumentation (electronic and pneumatic); oil industry experience is appreciated.

· Good command of English language, written and spoken.

Scope of Duties:

· Receives instructions, obtain specified material, spare parts and tools.

· Under the guidance of a Senior Technician carries out the maintenance, repair, calibration and functional tests of a variety of instruments, gauges, valves, and control loops in accordance with company standards, codes and practice.

· Carries out preventive and routine maintenance and functional tests in accordance with maintenance procedures on a variety of equipment and loops.

· Reports completion of work and assists in final testing as instructed

· Keeps tools and work area in a clean and serviceable condition.

· Receives, identifies and sorts out incoming spare parts, components and consumable; prepare, tag and ship out-going mechanical maintenance freight.

· Ensures all maintenance activities are conducted within company standing instructions and procedures and good oil industry practice.

· Ensures strict adherence to Health, Safety & Environment Standards and Guidelines set by the company.
