Job Title : Design Draftsmen - Electrical / Control

Minimum Requirements:

· Three year Drafting / Engineering Diploma from recognized Technical Institute and a minimum of five (5) years experience in Oil and Gas Industry or Process Industries.

· High level of drafting skill using AutoCAD program and additional add–on application programs.

· Excellent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and other related applications.

· Strong working knowledge of discipline specific skills, codes and standards practices.

· Leadership skills, good written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.

· Requires a good working knowledge of Piping Standards and ASME, API, ANSI Codes.

Scope of Duties:

· Good knowledge and application of discipline specific design drafting, codes and standard practices.

· Prepares clear, accurate and complete construction drawings.

· Develop detailed design elements using information from various sources which may include site studies, vendor drawings, catalog data, engineering sketches, reference drawings and input from other disciplines.

· Conducts field investigations, produces clear field reports with detailed sketches, written and verbal instructions.

· Participates in design coordination with Engineers and other disciplines in the development of complete drawing packages.

· Demonstrates a through working knowledge of applicable industrial standards such as NEC or ISA, and API.

· Hands on experience as a Field Technician.
