Job Title : Mechanical Technician ( Aviation ) - Required 2 Numbers

Salary Range :
· Minimum Base Salary 2990 AED per month.
· General Allowance 460 AED per month.

Minimum Requirements:
· Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering
· 3-5 years experience in H / D truck workshop.
· Basic PC literacy.
· Good knowledge of English and Arabic.
· Valid UAE driving license.
Additional Requirements:
· Must have experience in an oil or petrochemical environment.
· Must be PC literate, ideally with an understanding of CMMS.
· Must have experience of the following equipment
o Pneumatic systems.
o Filter water separators.
o Pumps.
o Pressure control systems.
o Hydraulic systems.
o Product delivery meters.
· Must have experience of heavy duty vehicle mechanics.
· Should ideally have experience on aircraft refueling equipment e.g. fuellers and dispensers.
· Should ideally have knowledge of instrument calibration.
Scope of Duties:
· Carries out routine preventive maintenance on static and mobile equipment at airport depots, as assigned per monthly schedules and according to company procedures, and records in accordance with laid down procedures.
· Tests vehicles and static equipment after repair for satisfactory operations.
· Works correctly to diagrams and reads test gauges and meters.
· Maintains all safety equipment.
· Starts all mobile equipments daily and checks for satisfactory working, reports and attends to faults, carries out periodic checks on all mobile and static equipment and records accordingly on standards forms.
· Prepares store requisitions as per catalogues, part list, etc.
· Attends all assigned breakdowns promptly, carries out necessary repair works and ensures that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible. Ensures all safety precautions are taken.
· Ensures the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area (safety checks).
· Carries out major overhaul of mechanical equipment and carries out testing and calibration of equipment.
· Operates and updates records in computer based maintenance program system for Aviation equipment and facilities as per instructions. Ensures all maintenance is recorded as per ISO9002 / IMS procedures.
· Carries out meter calibration, pressure gauge testing and calibration of equipments.
· Performs any other related duties as assigned by Sr. Mechanical Technician as and when required. Stays standby on call 24 hours a day for any emergency calls.
