Our client, a world-wide prominent IT global company is currently looking for talents to join them.
Position : Technical Support Executives (read/write Thai)
Reports to : Technical Support Manager
Base Location : Bayan Lepas Penang
Salary : up to RM3,000
Note : Salary will comensurate with candidates qualification, experience and current salary.
Duties
Diagnosis & repair, via telephone, computer systems & software systems within standard time frames.
Escalate issues to Product Support team and/or Manager in order to resolve issue to the customer's complete satisfaction.
Maintain accurate call logging and tracking into Helpdesk database.
Excellent communication skills and able to work with people with varying levels of technical understanding and ability in international environment.
Have strong understanding and technical ability for both PC environment and applications. Able to work rotating shifts Mondays through Saturdays.
Requirements
Preferably degree in computer/engineering discipline. Strong understanding and technical ability to support PCs, operating systems and applications.
Ability to read and write Thai is a MUST.
Must be a Malaysian.
Strong problem solving and customer relation skills. Certification in Microsoft/Novell desirable.
2 to 3 years experience in providing direct support to end-users either in Customer Service/Field Engineering or corporate help desk.
Analytical, articulate, result-oriented, able to perform under pressure and provide excellent follow up.
Broad knowledge of software, hardware, Network Cards, Hubs/Routers/Bridges and terminal/terminal emulation.
Microsoft professional certification will be an added advantage.
Ability to speak, read and write proficiently in Thai and English.
Candidates without direct experience but proficient in Thai and technically trainable are encouraged to apply.
