Responsibilities:
Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations focusing on new process or equipment introduction to production. Champion ESG-Penang in plastic Ultrasonic Welding focusing on process characterization, optimisation, improvement and standardization. Perform detailed evaluation and characterization of the critical processes and provide solution to production in reducing defects, scraps and improving cycle time. Evaluate new process / equipment technology and provide recommendations to the management through projects reports and presentations. Established new process guidelines for reference across the Business Group in ESG- Penang
Salary: negotiable
Requirement:
Bachelor’s/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years working experience in plastic Ultrasonic Welding process with in depth knowledge of the process thru process characterization and optimisation.Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills. Good knowledge in the use of statistical too (i.e.; JMP &Minitab) and statistical techniques 9DOE, Response Surface, MSA, SPC) is definitely an added advantage. Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills and able to work independently as an individual or as a team member with minimum supervisions.
