1. Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design and development of the mechanical aspects of sound systems and loudspeaker drivers, according to customer specifications and within the time frame of the project planning
Interacting with the acoustical and electrical development engineers when designing the mechanical aspects of drivers and boxes. Interfacing to external suppliers on the technical issues to create a pro active involvement of the suppliers . Controlling and organizing the construction of development samples according to the project planning .Responsible for the in time delivery of the required documentation of mechanics during the development. Responsible for the translation of the project deliverables into his/ hers daily workload .Working according to the company’s PCP (Product Creation Process)
As the member of the company’s PCP team, report project development results and outputs to the project manager. Design products taking into account the following :
Design for manufacturing ii) Design for assembly
Salary: RM 3,000 to RM4,000. Salary will commensurate with candidates’ experience and qualification

Requirement:
Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Fluent in English and Mandarin both verbal and written. Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in mechanical engineering. Expert in 3D including solid modelling and surface technique using PRO-engineering . Knowledge on moulding technologies
Knowledge on mass production processes. A team minded person capable of working independently, taking his pr her own responsibility on the job and keeping a positive attitude under all circumstances
Strong communication skills . Strong awareness that today’s world mass production consumer goods companies must be highly cost driven to maintain their competitive position. Willing to travel
A personal interest in loudspeakers and audio equipment is recommended
