Requirements :
1) Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with at least 3 to 5 years of working experience on Enterprise Sun Solaris Systems (E3000, E6500, E10K, Clustering). Banking experience will be beneficial.
2) Proficient in Unix Shell and Perl scripting
3) Experience in Iplanet and WebLogic will be beneficial.
4) Experience in RDBMS, NT and/or networking technologies.
5) Possess good project management and problem solving skills.
6) Resourceful team player with good communication skills
7) Strong tasks and time management skills
8) Able to work independently with minimum supervision
9) Sun Solaris certification preferred.

Job Duties :
1) To administer and maintain existing Enterprise Unix Systems and Application Servers.
2) To support new systems implementations.
3) To provide technical support to Application Developers and end-users.
4) To perform systems and database performance tuning, capacity planning and maintenance.
5) To pro-actively monitor, pre-empt, diagnose and rectify systems/network/database related problems.
6) To evaluate and recommend new releases and fix requirements
7) To carry out documentation for changes or new implementations
