Urban Academy, a small, friendly English school situated in Minami-Aoyama (Omotesando station exit B3), is looking for a female English teacher (preferably from Australia/UK/New Zealand) to work the following shifts:
Mon., Tue., Wed., Friday nights from 5-9pm, and Saturdays from 1-7pm (total 22 fifty-minute classes per week).
The initial probationary monthly fee of \162,800 + transportation will be paid into your Japanese bank account on the 10th of each month.
Work begins on April 17th, 2002.
The candidate will have at least 6 months experience teaching general conversation classes to Japanese adults (18+), and will have a basic daily knowledge of spoken Japanese, as wel as a bright and friendly personality with a joy for teaching.
All applicants must possess either a working-holiday or working VISA, and must be able to work for a minimum of 5 months. Also you must reside in Tokyo.
