Managing a team of IT professionals providing application support for Trading and E-Commerce Applications across the entire spectrum of product
Lines. This role involves working closely with the Traders and Development teams and would ideally suit someone performing a similar role at another investment bank. The primary reporting line will be to the Head of Tokyo IT.
Main duties include ;
* Providing guidance to and managing the workload of the Application Support team;
* Acting as the interface with Senior Business Management
* Providing 1st line support to internal users and managing implementation of enhancements to fix these problems;
* Deployment and configuration of in-house applications;
* Gathering and prioritizing user requirements ;
* Co-ordination of the rollout of global systems to Tokyo.
Skills Required
* Solid Team Leadership skills;
* Solid understanding of the Business and underlying technologies; Must be customer service focused;
* Have excellent communication skills;
* Innovative thinker;
Fluency in English is a requirement & Japanese language skills are highly desirable.
