QUALIFICATIONS:
University level degree in Accounting. Local CPA certification strongly preferred.
Five years or more experience, background in public accounting helpful.
Prior experience in financial reporting to US parent company or joint venture partner including familiarity with US GAAP.
Demonstrated expertise in local governmental and tax reporting.
Ability to hold and maintain corporate books and records including board minutes and resolutions.
Strong English language capability necessary.
Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
RESPONSIBILITIES:
TO LOCAL OFFICE:
Complete responsibility for all finance and accounting procedures, including time keeping, billing, credit and collections, (including maintaining client contracts and compliance), accounts payable, payroll, treasury, internal controls, and governmental and tax compliance. Principle contact with outside auditors.
Function as key advisor to managing director and staff on financial and business matters, such as forecasting and budgeting, cost control, space utilization, capital planning, and profitability maximization.
TO FLEISHMAN-HILLARD CORP:
Monthly financial reporting, quarterly and annual reforecast, and analysis per FH prescribed formats and deadlines.
Submission of all capital requests for review and approval by corporate management and maintenance of staffing and hiring schedules.
Interpretation and enforcement of company financial policies.
Position reports directly to managing director with functional corporate responsibility to regional controller and corporate financial liaison.
