Requirement: Minimum 8-10 years information systems experience preferably in cable, telecommunications, cellular or satellite market. Extensive experience in large customer billing systems. Experience in project management and vendor relationships. Previous management experience in the development and on-going operations of large scale business systems
Knowledge Needed : Extensive knowledge of customer accounts billing and / or services. Understanding of software development methdologies. Understanding of HP / Unix Hardware environment, client-server, relational databases and networking. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Japanese / English language skills.
Education Needed : BA / BS in business, Information Systems or Computer Science
Essential Physical / Mental Requirements : Requires extensive use of personal computer. Analytical ability, quick study, self-motivated. Ability to work in a fast paced / deadline driven environment. Long hours.
Special Requirements : International Travel required. * Manage and motivate group of senior business analysts, system support personnel, and on-site vendor personnel in support of the DIRECTV Japan Subscriber Management System
* Manage the continued operations, enhancements, and version upgrades of an existing subscriber management system
