This position will begin in the US for approximately three months. Then the assignment will move to Japan for 2-3 years
Responsibilities include:
-Budget and rolling forecast preparation for all Medical Solutions Marketing cost and profit centers, including determination of allocations.
-Calculation of budget and rolling forecast and determination of target figures per accounting system
-Cost and profit center controlling for all Medical Solutions Marketing cost and profit centers, including monitoring of actual cost transfers and allocations
-Determination of list and basic price level for all imported products, excluding spare parts
-Maintenance of sales related master data in SPIRIDON (a customized SAP system)
-Preparation of standard offers
-Determination of profit targets and standard commercial conditions offered to customers
-Cost and price calculation for individual complex offers
-Uploading of final offers into SPIRIDON
-Monitoring of gross margin of all offers prepared and control profitability
-Cost center related fixed asset management for Medical Solutions Marketing
-Checking and approval of all Medical Solutions Marketing cost center related purchase orders, travel requisitions and expenses, as well as releasing incoming invoices for payment
This position requires a BS in Finance/Accounting or other related business program from a US university. MBA preferred. Must be bilingual in English and Japanese. Additional language skills would be a plus. Must have at least 7+ years Finance/Accounting experience which includes supporting sales financials.
