You will be part of Zoran's expanding presence in the Asia Pacific region. This is an important role in the strategy of Zoran's Home Entertainment market.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical support for Zoran's DVD playback/recordable products
Technical consulting to customers in all DVD playback/recordable development phases
Review customer specifications, provide technical feedback
Technical support while in development phase
System (hardware) level support
User interface software coding support (GUI)
Solving customer problems and acting as a bridge between the customer and Zoran's worldwide applications engineers when problems require escalation and coordination
Spend time at customer site participating in the final engineering effort to put the customer into production
Education and Experience Required:
BSc/MSc EE with strong software development skills
4 - 6 years experience
Actual experience in digital video (MPEG Video), optical media standard DVD, VCD, CDDA
Excellent communication skills
Good English language skills (Prefer candidate who has spent time in US)
Enjoys working with customers
Understanding of both hardware and software for Real Time embedded systems
Must know C programming language
Real Time Embedded programming with common RTOS is a plus (Nucleus, Micro-Itron, PSOS)
