(1)Project Managers / Senior Software Engineers
B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech only Atleast 4-6 years experience for Project Managers and 3-4 years experience
for Senior Sofware Engineers. Good programming background in C, C++, software design & architecture.
Aptitude for solid modeling and geometry concepts Exposure to CAD/ CAM packages and related software
development experience will be an advantage Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Project
Management & client management skills are essential for Project Managers and will be an advantage for
Senior Software Engineers
(2)Project Manager (Engineering) B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech only Atleast 2-3 years in development and
familiarity of various development tools. Atleast 2 years experience as a project manager and familiarity with
the phases of software development lifecycle. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ensure that processes related to Project Management (PM), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and
supporting functions are defined and documented.Train the Project personnel in Geometric's way of
executing projects for various practices and process framework. Conduct Project Development
Reviews.Create / share / lookout for a set of tools for project management and development.Ensure that the
processes taken up for implementation are followed consistently using training & review mechanism. Ensure
transparency in the way of working of the project groups. Set up a process for capturing data related to
Project Management and software development life cycle activities and ensure that it is available across the
groups. Achieve of quality objectives as defined by the organization. Define norms for the organization for
project management, development.
(3)Quality Assurance:B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech only Responsible for the day-to-day testing within SQA
department 2 + years experience in a Quality Assurance environment. Prior experience to comprise of a
mixture of automated and manual testing A minimum of 1-year experience in design, development and
testing commercial software products and a proficiency in Windows-based applications is necessary. Role
will entail development of test plans, recording the scripts of plans as also running scripts and
escalating,any issues that are discovered.Familiarity with automated testing software is desired.
(LoadRunner/ WinRunner/ Rational)· Knowledge of full life cycle development is necessary. Knowledge of
defect tracking software package.
(4) Metaphase Customization :B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech only Good knowledge of ORACLE, Java and OOPS
concepts. 1-3 years Server side programming experience in Java. 1 to 2 years Metaphase customization
experience. Model and programming experience in Metaphase. Senior Resources (3 to 5 years' relevant
experience) will also be considered.
(5)Metaphase Implementation :B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech only 1-3 years Metaphase implementation
experience. Strong project execution skills. Well versed with Metaphase functionality, PDM technologies,
expertise on PDM. Metaphase implementation experience should include Document/Change/Release
Management Processes. Good knowledge of Oracle, OOPS concept.
(6)CATIA Modeling Professionals :B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace only More than 2
years experience in CATIA V4 modeling, position also available for very senior CAD/CAM experts
Experience of CATIA Macro programming desirable Experience on CATIA V5 will be an added advantage.
(7)Software Professionals for CATIA Development: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace
only 3 - 4 years' experience in C/C++ software development is essential.Exposure to CAD packages and 3D
modeling is essential Experience of CAD customization required. Experience of CATIA Macro programming
desirable.Experience on CATIA V5 / CAA will be an added advantage.
(8)iMan Experts:BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech only 1-2 years iMan user/customisation/implementation experience
and atleast 2 years development experience in C++ and Java is a must.
(9)eMatrix Professionals: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech only with good academic track record 2 years Hands-on
experience on customisation/implementation on eMatrix/Windchill softwares Programming skills in
C++/Java/JSP/TCL/TK of atleast 2 years is essential Familiarity with Web Technology concepts such as
XML/Java Application and exposure to webservers Weblogic/Websphere.
(10)Localization Engineers: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech only Experience in internationalization(I10N) and
localization (L10N) of PDM products Familiar with testing of PDM products and localizing them for translation
(to languages like French, German, Japanese) Fixing bugs in C++ and Java code for Internationalization.
Integrating the localized materials with the product. Performing visual and functional QA in supported
languages for content corruption, translation literal, etc Exposure to technical support of vendors who
provide localization services.1 year of experience in localization is a must 1-2 years experience in C, C++,
Java is desirable.
