Minimum of two years experience as a Project Manager of a Systems Integration effort for a system supply chain or ERP solution. Experience to include direct technical involvement in system design, programming, database creation and tuning, data conversion, hardware and software installation, software module testing and system testing. Experience also required in project planning, risk management, cost control, scheduling, staff supervision, staff recruitment and project reporting.
Experience in designing solutions for clients, relationship building & maintaining and providing professional services to clients. Functional knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Supply Chain Management systems and SAP systems experience with MM, WM, SD and PP modules is desired. Knowledge of bar code and radio frequency required.
Responsibilities:
Specifically, the responsibilities of a Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
・ Analyze clients needs & provide solutions
・ Prepare and present project status
・ Prepare and participate in proposal preparation
・ Manage multiple programs
・ Establish & Maintain Client Relations
・ Cost, Risk, Schedule & Performance Management
・ Team Management which will include other vendors as well as client personnel
・ Database creation, normalization and tuning.
・ Data Conversion
・ Hardware installation and configuration
・ Network setup and administration
・ Application software installation and configuration
・ Software quality assurance testing at module and system level
・ System testing of the integrated supply chain solution
・ Troubleshooting and diagnosis of system issues
・ Scheduling and allocation of resources
・ Training of internal and customer personnel
Personal Traits:
The Project Manager must be highly self-disciplined (proven track record of working effectively with minimum direct supervision), highly organized and industrious, and the type of individual who enjoys working in a growth oriented, high-energy environment. This individual will be a person of high integrity who has continually displayed the ability to be a positive team player, with a commitment and sense of urgency in making things happen. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
