Take over the support/development functions of Tokyo Research Database. Support Research productions by: Supporting locally developed Excel add-ins and Word templates, Create new add-ins or templates based on user needs, Support the department's Sybase database. Opportunity to work in a department which has some of the top-rated analysts in Japan.
Ideal Candidate: MUST be bi-lingual – Japanese native a must. Required: Microsoft Office applications, VBA, VB, Sybase (database programming). Preferred: Unix, C-shell, Perl. Knowledge of Japanese Equities or a work-flow of an Equity Research Department would be ideal but not essential.
