As a Field Applications Engineer you will use your technical experience to help in the
sales campaign, such as working with the account managers to strategize the sales
approach, deliver technical presentations, present product demonstrations, assist in
customer training and working closely with customers to ensure successful product
implementation.
Responsibilities:
Present technical presentations and demonstrations
Provide in-depth technical knowledge to position and insure success of technical
evaluations and product implementation
Assist in customer training classes
Work with customers to define technical requirements and use models
Facilitate the improvement of a customer's process through application of our
products.
Requirements:
BS/MS CS, EE or other Technical Degree
Understanding of complex IC/Electronic Systems design process or firmware
development
Extensive Unix expertise (scripting, system administration, etc.)
Understanding of Web technologies (html, java-script, etc.) a plus
Understanding of data/config management systems and/or client/server systems
Ability to quickly establish technical credibility with design engineers and managers
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to influence technical decision makers
Competitive, Can-do attitude
Team Player
Self-motivated while working independently
Desire to travel throughout Central U.S. (up to 40%)
Thrives on the excitement of a startup company
