Universal Electronics, Inc. a world leader of consumer electronics, has an immediate opening for a Sales Application Engineer for our Japan office.
Duties comprise of pre and post sales support and customer/project liaison. You will interpret product specifications from our sales reps to our engineers mainly in Japanese from English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English are mandatory.
The ideal candidate possesses a BSEE/CS or equivalent with 1-3 years experience including writing specifications, customer contact, and technology applications. Familiarity in one or more of the following areas is a plus: consumer electronics, embedded microcontrollers, infrared signaling, and low cost manufacturing.
