The Bowne Global Solutions Far East Testing Division performs large-scale software functional and localization quality assurance projects for internal development projects as well as the world's best
software companies. As part of our effort to expand our capacity and services, we are seeking bright, dedicated, and experienced test leads to become part of our team.
Test lead:
As a test lead for this dynamic company you will work with other taleneted employees at BGS locations around the world, and our clients, leading software companies Palm Computing, Microsoft, and Hewlett Packard. Testing projects vary in type and size, from internal tool and application development, testing of end user office and Internet-related software products, to large high end client/server systems.
Job responsibilities:
* Creating test plans
* Developing and executing tests
* Testing internationalized and/or localized software
products so that they meet stringent quality requirements
* Employing effective test methodology, automation and /or tools to achieve maximum coverage in the most efficient way
* Interfacing with clients, and leading seminars.
Qualifications should include:
* English language ability
* Superior testing skills
* The ability to judge problem areas and generate quality bugs
* Experience with Windows programming and/or good knowledge of an operating system preferred
* Strong ownership of the assignment, and thriving in a
dynamic and challenging environment preferred
* Excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, ability to follow through, and ability to work well with people required
* Prior project and/or people management experience preferred
* Strong networking understanding preferred
* Ability to read and write at least one of the following languages: Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Thai, or any of the Indian languages required
