Controller – Investment Company – Toyko, Japan
Emmes & Company LLC, headquartered in New York, is currently seeking a Controller to join our Tokyo, Japan affiliate, Emmes Asset Management Company, Japan Ltd. (“Emmes Japan”). The Controller will play an integral role in setting up and assisting with the U.S.-style reporting system for our commercial, industrial and residential properties in Japan.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fluency in English and Japanese
5-7 years of accounting experience, real estate experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of international and U.S. GAAP
CPA, preferred
Previous public & private accounting experience
Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
College degree in Accounting
