Senior Japanese Major Accounts Manager

This is an opportunity for a Senior Sales Representative to lead product sales campaigns from identifying opportunities, to structuring deals, negotiating and closing. Focus is on selling the core Cadence Design products in an assigned account base. The ideal candidate will:
Ensure all sales provide maximum benefit to the customer and to Cadence through the creation of a tailored business plan for each account based on a clear understanding of the customers business, it's industry, competitive environment and marketplace.
Drive customer satisfaction with all customers. Build positive customer relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Provide influential customer input to Product Marketing that address customers needs.
Understand the full line of Cadence Product and Service offerings to maximize revenue to exceed quota and manage effective working relationships with everyone involved in the account/geography. Coordinate with Service sales team to identify and qualify service opportunities. Utilize AE and Sales resources effectively to maximize their impact.
Prospect and identify new business opportunities and new accounts so that qualified pipeline measurably exceeds quota. Own forecasting, effectively use sales automation tools in daily activities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree: EE or CS. Minimum with 3+ years of Japanese major account development experience with a documented track record of meeting or exceeding quota. Excellent presentation skills to all levels within an account and demonstrated leadership skills is required. Knowledge of the Semiconductor or electronics industry and/or EDA Technology sales background is highly desirable. Candidate should be skilled in value based selling. Conversant in the Japanese language and business culture is highly desirable.
