Focused on Network Integration (LAN/WAN) costing, economics and marketing strategy for small

Reason for leaving: company gave up technical portion of business. Salary: 85K

* TECHNICAL AND MARKETING DIRECTOR
Duties: Did contractual projects (US and Asia) with several firms including government projects
(US Coast Guard, Sony Entertainment, Hughes). recommended and oversaw implementation of
new system enhancements. As an IT Director, analyzed the current IS environment,
implemented enterprise-wide solutions, managed projects, proposals and interfaced with
various management members. Technical recruiting and evaluation of project engineers,
technical staff. Responsible for dealing with all customer questions/complaints. Captured 15%
increase in sales through better packaging, realignment of market distribution.
Developed/launched 10 products (unbranded lower-priced, custom-tailored hardware).
Increased aggregate profit from 3% to 9% and market share by 20%.

** REGIONAL MARKETING DIRECTOR / ASIA SALES MANAGER { 1970-1986 }
Duties: Formulated and instituted profitable business plans for computer hardware
manufacturers addressing international marketing, logistical contingencies, and government
policies.
