Micro Control Company has been making burn-in & test systems for 28 years. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, we have systems at customer sites throughout the world. Clients include IBM, Toshiba, Sony, and Hitachi. (See our website at http://www.microcontrol.com for more information on our products.)

We have recently decided to expand our operations in Japan by opening an office there to provide sales and technical support.

The service engineer will be solely responsible for installation and service of all systems in Japan so an independent, self-motivated worker is essential. Furthermore, an ability to speak Japanese is necessary. For Japanese nationals, good English would be an advantage.

We would prefer at least 2 years field service experience in the semiconductor or electronics industries and familiarity with test systems would also be a plus. Our systems are run on OS2 or Windows NT platforms and programming is usually done in Rexx so familiarity with any of these would also be an advantage.

The position will probably be based in Tokyo, though it may be possible to work from your home.

Salary is negotiable, depending on experience. The company will not cover relocation expenses to Japan.

Resumes should be sent to info@microcontrol.co.jp

Micro Control Company is an equal opportunities employer.
