Duties/Responsibilities:
Support sales activities to wireless service providers.
Effectively operate in a matrix environment with Motorola
and Cisco sales teams. Lead the account management
activities including the development and implementation of
relationship, technology implement regional strategies of
sales and business teams. Will have sales targets and
budget management responsibilities. Identify customer
opportunities, develop proposals, and follow through on
sales leads. Establish and maintain relationships with
key decision-makers via NSS account interface plans.
Specific Knowledge:
BS,MS in business, marketing or sales. 10-15 years
professional experience. Must have experience using a
consultative selling approach. Critical experiences
include relationship management, account management,
sales/direct selling, knowledge of wireless interfaces,
data networking, Internet technologies (TCP/IP),
telecommunications, applications development, project
management, selling services and integration services.
Candidates must have working technical knowledge of
technologies listed above, business case development,
enterprise solutions and end-user device design. Must
show initiative, creativity, leadership, influence
skills. Must possess a demonstrated ability to operate in
an unstructured, ambiguous environment; ability to adapt
and learn new technologies quickly; communication skills;
ability to anticipate and align technical solutions with
customer needs. Candidates must be results oriented.
Keys: Top down sales cycle. Will interface directly with CTO,CIO,Top Marketing, Financial etc type in the client organization. Must have strong technical skills with the ability to articulate them to various audiences. Been involved in long sell cycle and the ability to work in a team environment. Will be working with various members of Motorola and non-Motorola sales teams.
