Tax Director (Tokyo)
Our client, a multibillion-dollar multinational consumer finance company based in the United States, seeks Tax Director for their Tokyo office.
Position requires an outgoing, roll-up-your-sleeves tax professional with a Japanese tax background.
Responsibilities will include managing all aspects of Japanese taxation, while participating in the coordination and implementation of the company's global tax strategy with the objective of optimizing worldwide post-tax earnings.
The Tax Director will be responsible for Japan tax compliance and planning as well as U.S. tax reporting.
Candidate must possess a general understanding of U.S. tax law and the ability to communicate effectively in Japanese and English.
This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
