Position will be located in Japan. Primary job duties include conducting root-cause failure analysis, development of timely corrective actions and product support engineering for high-end disk drives. Additionally, engineering development activity, as well as customer qualification support is required during the development phase.
A BSEE, BSCE or BSME with design, test or manufacturing is desirable. Candidate should have a general understanding of electronics, mechanics and software. Experience in magnetic recording, failure analysis, SCSI protocol, or C programming is considered a plus.
