BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Recently the leaders in Wireless and IP Packet Routing have formed an alliance to deliver global wireless solutions based on a packet and IP services. This alliance will rollout products and services to include but not limited to Data Service, Mobile IP, Packet Gateways, Feature Servers, and Innovative Applications and Services (API-based). Centers of Excellence will be put in place to assist with Sales Consultancy, demonstrate state-of-the-art technical solutions and house the Systems Integration Labs. Technology includes Voice over IP, Wireless Packet Data, IP Backhaul and Applications.

This alliance will deliver leading edge wireless/TCP/IP technology to traditional wireless carriers, enterprise companies, telecom operations and service providers.


Support sales activities to wireless service providers. Effectively operate in a matrix environment with Alliance member sales teams. Lead the account management activities including the development and implementation of relationship, technology implement regional strategies of sales and business teams. Will have sales targets and budget management responsibilities. Identify customer opportunities, develop proposals, and follow through on sales leads. Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.


BS,MS in business, marketing or sales. 10-15 years professional experience. Experienced in using a consultative selling approach. Critical experiences include relationship management, account management, sales/direct selling, knowledge of wireless interfaces, data networking, Internet technologies (TCP/IP), telecommunications, applications development, project management, selling services and integration services. Posses a demonstrated ability to operate in an unstructured, ambiguous environment; ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly; communication skills; ability to anticipate and align technical solutions with customer needs. Keys: Top down sales cycle. Will interface directly with CTO,CIO,Top Marketing, Financial etc type in the client organization. Posses strong technical skills with the ability to articulate them to various audiences. Been involved in long sell cycle and the ability to work in a team environment.
