Responsibilities/Duties:
Provide marketing and sales support for Crane Nuclear testing products and services in the Japanese market
Work with the Manager of East Asia Business Development to create Japanese marketing material and documentation such as product brochures, presentations and technical descriptions
Provide translation services for onsite demonstrations, meetings, exhibitions and presentations
Call upon customers to arrange meetings, schedule appointments and follow up on past discussions
Correspond regularly with the Crane Nuclear inside sales team to resolve customer issues and inquiries
Work with the customer to arrange plant access, security screening, and living arrangements for Crane Nuclear personnel on technical service contracts in Japan
Prerequisites/Required Skills:
4-year college degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years experience in translation and/or technical product sales support
Highly proficient in English and Japanese (functional Chinese is a plus)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (experience in Microsoft Access and web page design is a plus)
Notes:
Travel within Japan is expected to be up to 25%
Two weeks of initial product and sales procedure training shall be conducted at Crane Nuclear in the United States with the possibility of annual meetings/training to follow
Depending upon attendance of Japanese customers at conferences or exhibitions that Crane Nuclear is attending outside of Japan, international travel may be required.
