Will be responsible for developing and managing distributors for the Japanese market as follows: business planning, recruiting, training, sales and sales support. RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Planning, will be responsible for putting together a comprehensive business plan the for the Japanese market. Recruiting--will identify and contract with distributors. Training--must be fuly versed in all technical aspects of Faro's hardware and software in order to provide compehensive product training to the distributors. Sales/sales support--must be able to complete product demonstrations and provide basic technical support to new customers. REQUIREMENTS: Must be fluent in both Japanese and English. Must be familiar with the traditions and business practices within the Japanese economy. Must have education in engineering or a technical degree, must have three years experience in technical sales. Exposure to CAD/CAM, the CMM industry and/or manufacturing is also essential.
