Dear Sirs,

Re: Work in the Far East

I am a young Portuguese professional based in London, UK for the past 6 years
with a strong background in management, sales & languages. Over the past few
years I have been deeply involved in many sales and managerial positions
representing some of the largest and most influential organisations in the
world. During my time with these employers, I was required to liaise, build
relationships and generate business with companies in various sectors across
several different continents.

Whilst working for my past employers I received many awards and prizes for
achievement, including breaking the organisation’s record for sales in my first
month, due primarily to my hard work and determination. Having a unique will to
learn and to succeed, I am positive that I will be able to adapt and overcome
any challenges that are put before me.

Following a personal fascination with the Far East, and in particular with
Japan, its culture and its way of doing business, I am currently seeking my next
career advance in Tokyo. My passion for languages and to learn new cultures is
only overpowered by my determination to succeed.

As I consider myself to have strong innovative and problem solving skills,
together with my vast technical knowledge and linguistic abilities, I believe I
would be an asset to any company in your industry. I am fully aware that there
is much to learn and I am certain that I would have a positive impact and will
achieve this through hard work and motivation.

At the present time, I am looking forward to an opportunity with which I can
further my career and improve my skills whilst learning a new language at the
same time. I am a strong team player, used to tight deadlines, strict schedules
and I also posses the ability to achieve these working independently. I am
available to relocate to Japan starting from the beginning of November 2002.

I would welcome and consider any decent and serious proposal that you may have
to offer, bearing in mind I would require accommodation in central Tokyo, along
with my travel expenses and tuition in Japanese. Please ensure that the proposal
contains a complete job description and a detailed salary analysis.

I look forward to your reply,

Yours faithfully,

Marco Moreira
