Our client is a dynamic market leading high technology materials electronic manufacturer with significant international operations. With strong capital reserves and an innovative product line, the company is well placed for further growth and expansion across the Asian region.
To deliver this growth and to focus strategic direction across the region, our client seeks to fill the role of Managing Director – Asia Business Unit. This position requires a highly motivated, resourceful business leader who is operationally as well as strategically experienced and focused. The successful candidate will manage all functions within the organization in Asia with the quest for delivering perfect quality products while maintaining closeness to the organization’s chosen customers. The managing director will have full P&L responsibility for a $130m manufacturing facility and associated distribution operations across the region, and will be involved in the development of new manufacturing technology for the company. This individual will report directly to the parent company CEO.
Suitable candidates must have had P&L responsibility with high technology manufacturing businesses as well as hands on operations experience in the Asian Region. Candidates with proven track records in developing and expanding successful businesses in Asia would have a distinct advantage.
Successful candidates must have strong business and leadership skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
