Duties:
- Responsible for new product ideas generation and idea sketches preparation.
- Follow-up on models, prototype and first shot sample.
- Provide strong support to the tool makers and mould makers in the field of plastic parts which include but not limited to parts design review & mould design review.
- Station in China to provide training for a team of designers in product development and follow-up processes.
- Need to travel between China factory and Hong Kong office.
Qualification:
- Diploma/Degree in industrial or product design.
- Must be creative.
Working Experience:
- 8 years or above solid experience in product aesthetic design, drafting, and whole product development processes for toys (hard toys are preferable), and min. of 5 years of which should be in supervisory level.
Others:
- Good knowledge of computer operation for design.
- Good knowledge of 3D Cad system and Freeform.
- Good taste, strong design sense and creative mind with artistic sense.
- Good knowledge of international safety standard.
- Good skill in technical drawing.
- Good spoken Cantonese & Mandarin, and some English will be an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadline.
- Good training skill is a must.
