Tasks & Responsibilities

· Handle employment enquires for Projects received by telephone or direct approach. Receive and categorize all CV’s for Projects obtained through recommendations, direct approaches or agencies.

· Establish, maintain and update Projects CV’s database, in accordance with established procedures, and retrieves CV’s from database upon request or in response to DEL vacancies.

· Maintain contact list of regional and overseas recruitment agencies and updates regularly for reference purposes.

· Obtain quotations from Service Agents, in accordance with procedures and review quotes.

· Forward short-listed CV’s to recruiting Divisions / Departments. Arrange interviews, prepare and distribute the interview schedule to concerned personnel. Confirm travel / hotel arrangements to candidates and reimburses interview expenses as necessary.

· Review recruitment agencies’ terms and conditions, updates and recommend use of agencies to Human Resources Manager.

· Participate in interviews at senior level and conduct junior level interviews independently. Follow up on interview activities, obtain feedback and respond to unsuccessful candidates.

· Maintain records of recruitment activities against vacancies, ensuring accurate Vacancy Status Report by reviewing on a fortnightly basis.

· Administer all pre-employment procedures such as obtaining references, medical checks, referring candidates to Public Relations Officer and ensuring that all paperwork is properly filed on employee’s file.

· Assist Human Resources Manager in drawing up employment packages and employment approvals. Draws up and reviews the offer letters and employment contracts prepared by Human Resources Assistant.

· Perform other similar or related duties such as administering all employees leave balances and assisting in the establishment of Human Resources databases, as and when assigned by Human Resources Manager.
