We are a German management consultancy firm focusing on executive search and strategy consulting. Our client, a leading European company in consumer goods, is seeking to fill the following CFO position for its purchasing office in Hong Kong:
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting, Taxes, Corporate and Project Finance, Risk Identification and Risk Management, Appropriateness, Economic Efficiency and Adequacy of Internal Procedures, Planning and Forecasting, etc.;
The main objective will be the setting-up of the company from scratch, and dealing with jobs not included in the job description.
Requirements:
Min. 8 years relevant working experience in international trading companies; Understanding of European way of doing business; Excellent knowledge of Hong Kong and contacts in the region; Proficiency in IT; SAP knowledge is an advantage; Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
Knowledge of German trading environment is an advantage; Knowledge in customs clearance, export and shipment is preferred; Being able to set up the company and support GM in HK; Honest, persistent, flexible, creative, assertive, well-organized, adaptable, energetic, hands on and able to work under pressures, entrepreneurial; Fluent in English, Chinese or German is an advantage; CPA is a plus, but not a must; Approximate age 30~45
