The current vacancies are situated within an international communications company, at the System on Chip Design & Verification Department (SoC D&V) responsible for the design of application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), including synthesizable design methodologies to create semiconductor components and blocks known as Intellectual Property (IP) and their integration into next generation SoCs products. These IP and SoCs range from networking products, which include RISC cores, to audio products including DSP and general purpose micro controller cores and peripherals.
Prerequisites for the ASIC Verification positions are 5+ years experience in the verification of ASIC designs. You will need to be proficient in one or more of the following:
· Knowledge of Hardware Description Languages (Verilog/VHDL)
· Knowledge of test bench design and development
· ASIC or FPGA simulation Verification Techniques
· Understanding of Code/Functional Coverage analysis
· Hardware/Software Co-Simulation
· Unix Scripting Languages
· Formal Verification Methods
· Experience in C/C++ and/or Assembly coding
Formal Qualifications at a tertiary level in a technical discipline such as Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science at degree level as a minimum, are required. Further postgraduate studies will be an added advantage.
